Eads School Supply List & Important Dates

Kiowa County School District RE-1 will begin school on Wednesday, August 9th (Grades K-12).  The following items will need to please be sent with your student on the first day of school:

 

Preschool

*First day of school, Monday, August14 th.  Mrs. Williams will be providing you with more information concerning registration appointment times for the week prior. 

2 Large Containers Clorox Wipes

2 Boxes of 5 oz. Dixie All Purpose Cups

 

KINDERGARTEN*Mrs. Uhland

8 oz. size Elmer’s white school glue

8 LARGE glue sticks (White or Clear glue stick preferred)

Regular size crayons – 12 or 24 count

Box of 8 markers

2 LARGE box of facial tissue – 200 count

6 - #2 pencils with erasers

Good pair of metal bladed scissors (Friskars is an excellent brand)

PLASTIC cigar type school box

1 LARGE container of Clorox antibacterial wipes

1 Box Gallon Size Ziploc Baggies

1 Box Quart Size Ziploc Baggies

Bath or beach towel

All students attending Eads Elementary should have a pair of tennis, running, or rubber-soled flat shoes for their Physical Education class.  These shoes will be left in the Elementary Gym locker rooms so each student will have them for their class.   Students may wear shorts under a pair of long pants, and then remove the long pants during their P.E. class.  Girls MUST wear shorts under their dresses.

Important Dates and Information Kiowa County School District RE-1

Parents,

 

Please call the Eads Medical Clinic, 719-438-2251, to set up an appointment for your student’s sports physical.  The sports physical appointment can be made any day or time that the clinic has available for the special rate of $20. (Students are also welcome to receive his or her physical from any other medical clinic such as Wiley or Lamar (719-336-6767), however please note a CHSAA physical form is required.  You are welcome to stop by one of the offices and pick up a hard copy of the CHSAA physical form and our school insurance waiver forms that all athletes are required to have on file or go online to kiowacountypress.net – scroll to then click Youth & Education you will find the PDF copy that you can print off.

 

*Reminder, physicals must be handed into the office or coaches the first week of school.  Physical forms can be picked up at Ms. Jackie or Mrs. Barnett’s office.  Please call if you have any questions.  Thank you
