Spring break is over and now we're back to school for about 8 weeks and it will all be over for another year. Can't believe how fast this year has gone by.
Dick and I and my sister, Jerene DeBono went to Dodge City on Saturday. We did a little gambling and then met our son Mark, to get our grandson Kyle, who had been with his folks over Spring break. Our granddaughter Breeanna, who is on Spring break this week, decided to come home with us. We'll meet her dad next weekend so she can return home. The house is no longer quiet!
Congratulations to Seth Splitter and Seya Young on their wedding last Saturday in Wisconsin. Seth is the son of David and Dennill Splitter of Sheridan Lake. Most of the Splitter clan attended the wedding. There will be a reception in honor of Seth and Seya on April 2, 2017 from 2-4p.m. at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church. Everyone is welcome!!
This past weekend, Theresa Weber went to Denver to enjoy a "Girls Weekend" with her daughters, granddaughters and nieces. Hope you all had a great time!!
Week before last, Ron Healy had surgery on his wrist. He is home and doing fine. We're glad that Lori Healy is back in the kitchen at Plainview after hurting her hand just before Christmas.
Cora Coffman went to Cheyenne Wells last Friday and went to the GAP for Corn Beef and Cabbage to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Last Friday, Susan Greenfield and her dad, Norm went to Colorado Springs for Norm's eye appointment. On Monday, they went to her sister Sami and husband John's place and that evening all of them went to a Nugget's basketball game. Then on Tuesday, they paid for their fun by helping paint the ceilings in Sami and Johns home. Susan spent the rest of her break with her dad in Sterling.
Kelvin, Amy and Alex Schmidt and Jake Miller went to see the Royal Gorge a week ago Saturday. This past Friday and Saturday, Alex played baseball in Fowler with the Holly team. Congrats Alex on making the varsity baseball team at Holly.
Have a great week!
