October seems to be a good month for celebrating birthdays.

Week end before last, Vern and JoAnn Harris attended the 80th birthday celebration for Bill Frey in Holly.

Jim and Mary Ann Richardson and their granddaughter Melanie of Burlington, traveled to Littleton to help their other granddaughter Michelle Gibson celebrate her 40th birthday.  It was a double celebration as Michelle had just graduated and received her Mortician's license. Congratulations Michelle!

Saturday evening, Jennifer Wilson hosted a birthday party in honor of Ruth Fees’ birthday.  Happy Birthday Ruth!

Sunday, Cheri Hopkins had Evan and Jen Hopkins and children and Christy Hopkins for dinner and to celebrate Christy's birthday.  Happy Birthday Christy!

Saturday afternoon, Jay and Tara Stum had a Sweet 16 birthday party for their daughter Savannah at the church.  Guests were: Lane and Tammy Stum; Misty Harkness and sons, Gideon and Elijah; Gma and Gpa Deena and Bryan Long; Great-Gma June; Linly and Sherell Stum; Josh, Don and Heidi Blodgett; Shannon Martin; Sabrina Wurster; Amy and Alex Schmidt; Shawn Barton; Kadence Moser and Shea and Kirby and children.  Happy 16th Savannah!

Monte and Linda Stum went to Rocky Ford over the weekend to celebrate their granddaughter Clara's 2nd birthday.  Happy Birthday Clara.

A large crowd of family and friends from the Towner and Sheridan Lake area as well as from Lamar, Granada, Wiley, Pueblo, Kit Carson, Cheyenne Wells, Denver, Eads, Haswell, Burlington, Wray, and Calahan, Colorado, Tribune, Kansas, and Flemington, New Jersey, gathered at the Towner Community Hall on Saturday to help Dick Scott celebrate his 80th birthday.  Happy 80th Dick!!

Plainview hosted their annual Knowledge Meet on Friday.  The Plainview team A took second place.  Congratulations!

David and Dennill Splitter and family traveled to Kansas City this past weekend to watch their daughter Alyssa play volleyball.

Friday, Larry and Judy Tuttle and Pastor Ernie and Connie Lambright went to Sharon Springs to visit Bernice Tuttle.  On Sunday them and Burl and Cathy Scherler went to Cheyenne Wells for lunch to celebrate Burl's birthday.  Happy Birthday Burl!
