Newly constructed Harvest Flea Market announced that the Grand Opening Weekend is on schedule for Saturday and Sunday, May 5-6.

Harvest Flea Market location is at the west end of the Finney County Fairgrounds parking lot in Garden City, Kansas. It will be open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every weekend, May through October.

Harvest Flea Market offers over 300 fenced-in spaces, full food and beverage concessions, and rental equipment for vendors. Every weekend there is a Famer’s Market, covered spaces, live animal sale area, great bargain and treasure hunting and even a beer beach! “A buck and you’re in luck!” says Jeff Arkebauer, General Manager, about the cheap gate fee. Kids under 12 are free. Arkebauer said, “Bring out your garage sale, your closeouts & overstock items, estate sales, start a business or meet new clients, heck, bring your llamas and chickens too!”

Company officials state that daily or weekend vendors do not need to reserve spaces, just show up with your wares, at the south red gate between 6:30-8:30 am to get a space. Prices start as low as $20. Vendor and visitor information available on the

website, www.harvestfleamarket.com.

The deciding factor to open Harvest Flea Market was “How much of a blessing it will be

for the people of our region” said Mary Arkebauer, Operations Manager, “I can’t tell you

how many times we’ve heard that”. We’ll see you at the flea market!
