The Kiowa County Commissioner’s Special Meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. on September 8, 2017 by Chairman Richard Scott. Those in attendance were:

McLoud moved to amend the agenda to include a signature requirement for a letter requesting an extension for the DOLA Grant. Oswald seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The BOCC reviewed the Tabor question in regards to de-brucing as a county. After reviewing the ballot language Oswald moved and McLoud seconded the motion to approve Resolution 2017-3. Motion carried.

McLoud moved and Oswald seconded to sign Task Agreement P17AC01485 between the United States Department of Interior National Park Service and Kiowa County, Colorado in the amount of $50,320.00. Motion carried. Oswald moved and McLoud seconded the motion to sign the grant and cooperative agreement with the same task assignment number. Motion carried.

Oswald moved and McLoud seconded the motion to approve a Right of Way Permit that Eastern Slope Rural Telephone had applied for. Motion carried.

McLoud moved and Oswald seconded the motion to sign the letter of extension request EIAF-7467. Motion carried.

Oswald moved and McLoud seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 3:30 p.m. Motion carried.
