Wednesday, April 05, 2017, at approximately 1110 hours, Deputies were conducting speed enforcement in a CDOT Construction Zone on Highway 287, Mile Marker 118.  Adrian Hernandez  was issued a summons for 70 mph in the 40 mph construction zone.

Sunday, April 9, 2017, Deputies contacted a vehicle on Highway 96 West of Eads for speeding, 98 Miles Per Hour in a 65 Miles Per Hour Posted Zone. The driver,  Moises Medina, was issued a summons for speeding in violation of Colorado Revised Statutes 42-4-1101(1).

riday, April 14, 2017, Deputies contacted a vehicle on Highway 287 South of Eads for speeding. Deputies discovered the driver, Jason Dudley, had a canceled/denied driver’s license. Dudley was issued a summons for speeding, in violation of Colorado Revised Statues 42-4- 1101(1) and Driving motor/off highway vehicle when license under restraint in violation of 42-2-138(1)(a).

Sunday, April 23, 2017, Deputies received a traffic complaint of a vehicle speeding over 100 Miles Per Hour. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle on Highway 287 North of Eads and observed it traveling 96 miles per hour in a posted 65 miles per hour zone. Deputies contacted the vehicle and issued the driver, Tia Sonsini, a summons for speeding in violation of Colorado Revised Statues 42-4-1101(1).

Sunday, April 23, 2017, at approximately 1928 hours, a Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputy was patrolling Jackson’s Pond, Eads, Kiowa County Colorado. Deputies learned the male party, Charles Luther was in violation a protection order, by being with the female party. Luther was taken into custody and transported to the Prowers County Jail. He will be held on a $750.00 bond.

Tuesday, April 25, 2017, Deputies responded to a report of aggressive dogs running at large in Eads. Deputies were able to get the dogs contained. Jessica Yellowwolf was issued a citation for a municipal ordinance violations and a summons for driving while driver’s license is under restraint in violation of Colorado Revised Statues 42-2-138(1)(a).
