| Monday, September 4, 2017, Deputies contacted a vehicle for speeding on US Highway 287 North of Eads. Upon further investigation, Deputies discovered the driver, Oscar Franco, had a warrant for failure to appear out of Cheyenne County. Deputies took the Oscar into custody and transported him to the Prowers County Jail where he was also issued a citation for speeding 10-19 over posted speed limit violation of MTC1101(1). | |

| Thursday, September 14, 2017, Derrick Marcus (DOB 05-24-1979), was arrested for multiple warrants. Marcus was transported to the Prowers County Jail. He will be held on a $1,500 bond for one warrant and $1,000 for the other. | |

| Tuesday, September 19, 2017, Deputies contacted a vehicle for speeding 98 miles per hour in a posted 65 miles per hour zone and failing to drive in a single lane. Upon further investigation, the driver, Kevin Keser, was taken into custody and transported to the Bent County Jail. Keser was charged with Driving Vehicle While Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs or both in violation of Colorado Revised Statute 42-4-1301(1)(a), Speeding 98 miles per hour in a posted 65 miles per hour zone in violation of Colorado Revised Statute 42-4-1101(1) and failed to drive in single lane (weaving) in violation of Colorado Revised Statute 42-4-1007(1)(a). | |
