Kiowa County weather outlook – week of May 31, 2020

The coming week in Kiowa County is expected to be hot, with just a few chances for rain.

Temperatures Saturday afternoon will reach the mid-90s, with a slight chance of thunderstorms after 4:00 p.m. Later in the evening, the potential for thunderstorms increases through midnight as the overnight low drops to the lows 60s. Less than one-tenth inch of rain is expected, though amounts could be higher where thunderstorms do develop.

Temperatures in the mid-90s are expected to continue Sunday through Tuesday. A slight chance of thunderstorms returns Sunday night, mainly before midnight.

Wednesday sees a slight drop in the daily high temperatures, reaching the upper 80s. The potential for showers and thunderstorms returns before midnight Wednesday.

Low 90s are expected to return for Thursday and Friday. Overnight lows for the week are predicted to remain in the low 60s.
