Lopes Rodeo returns from weekend competition at Casper College with two top ten finishers, Kadyn Hicks and Jalisa Klassen.

Sophomore Kadyn Hicks led the men’s team with a second-place finish in steer wrestling.   He finished with a time of 9.8, just .1 second behind the first-place finisher.  He moved to ninth place in the Central Rocky Mountain Region standings in the event.

Sophomore Jalisa Klassen finished eighth in breakaway roping to earn points for the women’s team.  This placement pushed her into the eighth place position in regional standings. 

Lopes Rodeo will complete its season this weekend, April 27-29, at the University of Wyoming College Rodeo in Laramie, Wyoming.
