January 10, 1949-September 15, 2017

A celebration of life for lifelong Brandon and Sheridan Lake resident, Lyle Specht will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery.

Visitation for Lyle will be held from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Lyle was born on January 10, 1949 at Garden City, Kansas to Leo M. and Helen Lucille (Greenfield) Specht and passed away on September 15, 2017 at his home in Brandon at the age of 68. 

He is preceded in death by his father Leo Specht; sister, Connie Adame, paternal grandparents, Gus and Lota Specht, maternal grandparents, Clarence and Dottie Greenfield and maternal step-grandmother, Madge Greenfield. 

Lyle is survived by his wife, Katherine Denise Specht of the family home in Brandon, daughters, Kristina (Tim) Lofing of La Junta and Krystal (Chris) Tallman of Cheyenne Wells, CO; grandchildren, Kyle, Keaton and Alyson Tallman and Kelli and Megan Lofing. He is also survived by his mother, Helen Specht of Lamar; siblings, Madge Purvis of Weskan, KS, Leo Max (Kathy) Specht of Towner, CO, David Specht of Wichita, KS, Barbara Notestine of Lamar, Ken (Shirley) Specht of Lamar, Janice (Dean) McElroy of Gill, CO and Dale (Darla) Specht of Wiley, CO, brother-in-law, Jim Adame of Katy, TX as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyle Specht Memorial Fund in care of the Peacock Funeral Home and/or the Shriners either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
