Anna Marie Lang 
(November 27, 1921 - November 8, 2016) 
Anna Marie Garvin, affectionately known as Marie was born on November 27, 1921 in Wakeeney, Kansas to Minnie and Charles Garvin. Marie had 1 brother and 2 sisters. Marie grew up on a farm south of Wakeeney. Marie loved her horses, which she rode to school through the 8th grade.

On May 1, 1939, Marie married Lynas Lang. To this union two children were born: Janet and Eddie. In 1945, they moved to the Eldridge Ranch southwest of Eads where they lived for one year. They then moved into Eads where she lived until her death. Marie always had chickens and rabbits up until her failing health made it necessary to move from her home into the Weisbrod Extended Care Unit in Eads.

Marie belonged to the Rebecca’s Lodge and went through all the chairs. She also loved to play cards at the Senior Citizens Center. Marie passed away on November 8, 2016. She is survived by her children Janet McKnight and Eddie (Natalie) Lang. Marie is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Angela, Mardell, Sommer, Savannah and Skyla. Marie has 8 great grandchildren: Ty, Bandi, Mandi, Michael, Lexi, Brooklyn, Brynlee and Ellie and well as 4 great great grandchildren: Zane, Darian, Nathan and Caydance. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Lynas, her brother Harold Garvin, sisters Ruth Eldridge and Beulah Lang and her parents and one son-in-law Wayne McKnight.
