Ramona “Moni” Harwig

Moni Harwig, age 73, a life long resident of Colorado passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.

Moni a 1961 graduate of Eads High School was born Sept.16, 1943 in Chivington, CO to Lloyd E. “Pete” Mays and Margaret I (Sarah) Mays of Eads Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Harvey E. “Gene” Harwig, her mother Margret, her father Pete and a brother Roland Mays of Colorado Springs.

She is survived by her sons, Tony (Audrey) of Durango, CO, Trenton (Michele) of Falcon, CO, six granddaughters, Destinee, Karalee, Amber, Aspyn, Autumn and Ariah, and three great-grandchildren, Danika, Troy and Easton. She is also survived by a brother, Raymond (Mable) Mays of Colorado Springs CO, her sister Roberta “Birdie” (Corky) Hines of Canon City CO.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4125 Constitution Ave, Colorado Springs.
