Trinidad Lake

The current water temperature is around 74 degrees. The fishing from south shore has been slow as of recently. Fish are being caught throughout the lake with worms and PowerBait. The fishing near Reilly canyon has been slow due to the low water levels, but some anglers are still catching small perch and catfish. Boat anglers are catching mostly trout and walleye. Worm harnesses and trolling have worked in depths around 20 to 30 feet.

Clear Creek Reservoir

The trout fishing at Clear Creek Reservoir has been fair as of recently. The morning hours have been the most productive time to target trout. Shore anglers caught a few trout on PowerBait off the lake bottom. Fly anglers landed some trout on woolly buggers. The trout went for Kastmasters and Tasmanian Devil's from a boat. Successful kokanee salmon anglers fished early in the morning. The kokanee salmon usually go for squids tipped with corn near the dam of the reservoir.
