The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office announced that three people have been arrested in a sexual assault case that occurred in the unincorporated Elizabeth area.

Deputies made the arrests September 27 after executing a search warrant at 4881 Highway 86.

The victim, who is not being identified, is alleged to have been brought to the address and given alcohol and methamphetamine over the course of two weeks in mid-September.

Deputies arrested Cain Kelman, 46, Deanna Weber, 47, and Ricky Taggart. Kelman is alleged to have sexually assaulted the victim multiple times. He has been charged with sexual assault on a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of methamphetamine.

Weber and Taggart are charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of methamphetamine.
