• Kiowa County Public Library District’s Summer Reading Program. Summer Reading is for children ages 3-12 and will be July 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, & 27 from 1:00-2:30 PM at the library. Early registration begins on June 19.

• The Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site  open daily from 9 am to 4 pm, seven days a week.  This schedule will remain in effect through November 30, 2017.    The park will remain open for all three summer federal holidays  Fourth of July (July 4th), and the Labor Day (September 4th).

• Kiowa County Commissioners Meeting Dates   June 29, 2017-July 13, July 27, 2017 Open to the public 9:00am -  Commissioners will recess 12 - 1 for lunch 4 day notice is preferred for posted agenda

• The CCR Report for the Town Of Eads will not be mailed.
