The Kiowa County Hospital District and County Board met in regular session on September 26, 2017 at 6:31 p.m. at the Bransgrove Building Meeting Room.
District Board members present were: Robert Woods, Mary Eikner, Priscilla Waggoner and Cathryn Anderson. Absent - Sylvia Shields.
County Board members present were: Craig Kerfoot, Dennis Pearson, Lori Shalberg, and John Negley. Absent - Kim Harris (called).

(May 7, 1943 - November 9, 2017)
Janet was born to Lynas and Marie Lang on May 7, 1943.
There was always a running a joke in the family home that her dad had to sell four black grey hound puppies to pay the doctor bill! He often said he should have kept the puppies.
Connie Weber was here for a few days last week visiting her parents, Denis and Theresa Weber. Denis and Theresa attended the funeral for Sharon Frazee in Eads on Saturday.
Jim and Michelle Gibson visited their Aunt and Uncle, Jim and MaryAnn Richardson last Saturday in Sheridan Lake. They spent the night and returned to their home on Sunday. Jim and MaryAnn and Eugene and Judy Splitter went to Sharon Springs Sunday, after church for lunch.
