The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) today awarded $9.4 million to support 25 research and outreach projects that will help mitigate pests, weeds and diseases on farms and in communities. The awards are made through NIFA's Crop Protection and Pest Management Program (CPPM) and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program which have awarded more than $64.5 million since 2014.

The Colorado Wheat Administrative Committee (CWAC), Colorado Association of Wheat Growers (CAWG), and Colorado Wheat Research Foundation (CWRF) will host the 2016 Colorado Agriculture Summit on December 1, 2016 at Longmeadow Event Center in Wiggins, Colorado. Open to all involved in agriculture, the summit will feature a full day of informative speakers and panels focused on bringing real, timely industry information to Colorado agricultural producers.

Join Colorado Corn board members and staff on Dec. 7 at the Yuma Community Center (421 E. 2nd St.) to celebrate 2016. 

The Colorado Corn Growers Association (CCGA) will begin its annual business meeting at 4:30 p.m. (all CCGA members are invited), a social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the dinner and awards start at 6:30 p.m. CCAC and CCGA board meetings will also be taking place in conjunction with this event.
