Boulder Brands, Inc. is voluntarily recalling Earth Balance Vegan White Cheddar Mac & Cheese and Earth Balance Vegan Cheddar Mac & Cheese. The products are being recalled as the health and safety of our consumers as our top priority. Boulder Brands initiated the recall after being informed by consumers that the product may contain a dairy allergen. People with a dairy allergy or sensitivity run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
Flu activity on the rise; CDC urges ongoing vaccination
As of early November, only about 2 out of 5 people in the United States reported having gotten this season's flu vaccine, yet flu vaccine offered substantial benefit last season by preventing an estimated 5 million flu illnesses and 71,000 flu hospitalizations. CDC is releasing this information during the 11th National Influenza Vaccination Week (NIVW), an event to encourage ongoing flu vaccination into the holidays and beyond.

The Colorado Nurses' Association and Southeastern Colorado Area Health Education Center are soliciting nominations for the annual Southeastern Colorado Regional Nightingale Nurse Recognition Event. The state health department reminds Coloradans to protect themselves and their loved ones by getting a flu vaccination. It takes about two weeks after getting a vaccine for a person to build immunity against the flu.
Dr. K.S. Young, D.O. joined the primary care team at Southeast Health Group this fall, relocating from his most recent temporary assignment in Oklahoma.
