He is survived by his wife Carolyn; his mother Barbara; both of his in-laws, William and Frances Pepper; four daughters and three sons-in law; Rebekah and Brandon Harris of Frederick; Sarah and Michael Huntington of Torrington, Wyoming, Rachel and Preston Hoffman of Fort Worth, Texas; and Elizabeth Puls of Las Vegas, Nevada; sixteen grandchildren; sisters Janet Ashmore, Diane Pennington, and Nancy Pfeifer; and brother Timothy Puls.

Services were held Wednesday January 17, 2018, in Thornton.

January 22, 1934 - January 10, 2018

Barbara Ann Weirich, 83, passed away Wednesday, January 10, in the year of our Lord, 2018, with her family by her side in Pueblo, Colorado. 

Barbara was born January 22, 1934 in Las Animas, Colorado, the only daughter of John and Hazel (Barnhart) Shriver and sister to seven brothers. She attended school and graduated from Las Animas High School in 1953.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 15, at the First Christian Church in Eads beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Eads Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church in Eads, PO Box 301, Eads, CO 81036-0301.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Gloria June (June) Barnes was born on March 26, 1926, in Wanette, Oklahoma, to Dulcie D. and Ralph A. Barnes. She was of Pottawatomie Indian heritage and her paternal grandmother was instrumental in registering family descendants with the Federal Indian Agency. June's Indian name was Ogemakwe which translates to Wise One. She was the oldest of three children.
