USDA Update:. Tuesday numerous tornadoes were spotted thought the county. The FSA office has received some reports of damage including 1 machine shed and several power poles and fences.

Hail stones up to almost three inches in size broke windows, battered cars and windshields and pounded on roofs. Most of the damage focused on the eastern end of Eads.

A prime suspect has been arrested in the theft  of 14 cattle from Eads stockman Roy Pearcey in February. The suspect is being held in Kentucky  where he was involved with a shoot-out the a stockman who found him loading cattle in a field

Mike Miller stated the Colorado Rockies baseball team had awarded Eads High School with 80 tickets to home game because the school had one of the highest collective grade point averages in the state.

State Anthropologist informed the Kiowa County Sheriff Office,  bones found near Blue Lake were skeletons of Native Americans.
