CDOT Warns Public of Phone Scam

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is warning the public about a current phone scam. Multiple community members have reporting that they were contacted by a person claiming to be a CDOT representative. The caller states that they are conducting a survey on behalf of CDOT and requesting personal information such as date of birth, driver's license number and address.

When the community members refuse to give any information, they have been threatened with deportation.

While National Window Safety Week is observed annually, safety education should occur throughout the year.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is alerting consumers to Meridian Medical Technologies' voluntary recall of 13 lots of Mylan's EpiPen and EpiPen Jr (epinephrine injection) Auto-Injector products used for emergency treatment of severe allergic reactions. This recall is due to the potential that these devices may contain a defective part that may result in the devices' failure to activate.
