Topsoil moisture supplies rated 13% very short, 34% short, 51% adequate, and 2% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 10% very short, 34% short, 55% adequate, and 1% surplus.
Field Crops Report: Corn condition rated 4% very poor, 10% poor, 26% fair, 51% good, and 9% excellent. Corn dough was 86%, near 89% last year, and equal to the five-year average. Dented was 48%, behind 55% last year, and near 52% average. Mature was 3%, near 7% last year, and behind 9% average.
Soybean condition rated 4% very poor, 6% poor, 32% fair, 53% good, and 5% excellent. Soybeans blooming was 91%, near 93% last year and 94% average. Setting pods was 72%, behind 79% last year and 77% average. Dropping leaves was 1%, near 4% last year and 2% average.
