PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Lamar; 102 E Parmenter St, Lamar, CO 81052, (719) 336-2002, has filed an amendment for an existing Construction Materials Limited Impact (110) Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The mine is known as the Lamar Park Gravel Pit (File No. M-1987-078), and is located at or near Section 29, Township 22 South, Range 46 West of the 6^th Principal Meridian. The proposed decision date for the amendment is December 19, 2024. The proposed amendment changes the future use of the mine to industrial/commercial to match the current use of the surrounding properties.

Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety by end of day 10 days after initial posting which will be December 9, 2024.
