NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPSED ANNEXATION AND INITIAL ZONING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing regarding the proposed annexation into the City of Lamar and the initial zoning of the following described real property as C-3. The real property is located within a portion of the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 30 and a portion of the NW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 29, Township 22 South, Range 46 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Prowers County, Colorado; also known as, VALCO Subdivision Lot 1, as described on the Plat, recorded under Reception Number 527423, in the Prowers County Clerk and Recorder Office, Lamar, Colorado.

The public hearing will be held during a regular meeting of the Lamar City Council on October 12 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chambers, 102 E. Parmenter Street., 2nd Floor, Lamar, Colorado.

Any person may appear before the City Council at the time and place stated above and be heard concerning the proposed annexation and initial zoning. Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office, City of Lamar, 102 E. Parmenter St., Lamar, CO 81052 no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026.
