Betty Jo was born in Cheyenne Wells November 30, 1941, and passed away August 25, 2023, at the Lincoln Community Hospital in Hugo.

Betty is survived by son, Jerry Rother Colorado Springs; sisters, Mary Jean Carrigan of Kit Carson, Joyce Carrigan of Pueblo, Theresa Krizek of Oberlin, Kansas, and Alice (Alan) Roth of Cheyenne Wells; brothers, Bernie (Lillian) Carrigan of Carlsbad, California, Ed (Charlene) Carrigan of Eads, and Ken (Cheryl) Carrigan of Oil City, Pennsylvania; as well as numerous cousins and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Rosary will be prayed September 1 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church in Kit Carson. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be at the Kit Carson Cemetery at Kit Carson.
