Jane Borns

July 21, 1932 – October 3, 2018

A celebration of life for longtime Kit Carson resident, Jane Borns will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2018, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Kit Carson with Pastor Bill Viergutz officiating. Interment will follow at the Kit Carson Cemetery. 

Visitation for Jane will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Sunday, October 7, 2018, at the Peacock Family Chapel and Monday, October 8, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. 

Jane was born July 21, 1932 at Lamar to Charley Wesley and Gladys Oney (Downing) Barnhart and passed away October 3, 2018, at the Lamar Estates Nursing Home in Lamar at the age of 86.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Borns; her parents; son-in-law, Perry Middleton; her grandson, Wesley Chase Borns and her siblings, Helen Colvin and Ralph Barnhart. 

Jane is survived by her children, Shirley (Mike) Morlan of Kit Carson; Beverly Middleton of Lamar and Gary (Tricia) Borns of Hugo; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Kit Carson either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
