Justin Wayne Murdock

July 9, 1983 – July 25, 2018

A celebration of life memorial service for former Granada, Colorado, resident currently of Gruver, Texas, Justin W. Murdock will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2018, at the Peacock Family Chapel with Reverend Kathy Leathers officiating. 
Per Justin’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation. 
Justin was born on July 9, 1983 at Lamar, Colorado to Jonny G. Murdock and Darlene Hiner, and passed away July 25, 2018, in Baca County, Colorado at the age of 35.
Justin is survived by his wife, Crystal Cook-Murdock of the family home in Gruver; children, Acacia (Cody) Truitt of Lamar, Tyson Murdock, Cennan Cook and Caedden Cook all of Gruver, TX; one grandson on the way, Alden; his mother, Darlene Murdock of Lamar and his dad, Wayne Rife of Two Buttes, Colorado. He is also survived by his sisters, Tammy (Matt) DeLaRosa of Lamar and Billie Jo (Laning) Peterson of Eads, Colorado, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends. 
Memorial contributions may be made direct to the Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch at P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174 and/or through the funeral home office. 
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
