Rex Weirich

April 24, 1954 – November 8, 2020

Rex Weirich was born April 24, 1954, in Eads to Lane and Shirley Weirich and passed away November 8, 2020, in Dumas, Texas.

He was a proud member of the U.S. Navy. 

Rex married Joyce Worley November 23, 1996, in Eads. He had worked for many years as a truck driver and moved to Dumas with Joyce in 2014.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Weirich of Dumas; two daughters, Karen Hoefs and husband Dennis of Hartford, Wisconsin, and Amanda Hokanson and husband Shawn of Dumas; two sons, Frank Weirich and wife Marta of Richfield, Minnesota, and Justin McLoud and wife Kayla of Eads; six grandchildren, Cheryl, Mya, Camden, Presley, Cora, and Brenley; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Myles.

Memorial services for Rex Weirich were held July 6, 2021, at the family ranch in Kiowa County.

Cremation and arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
