The Eads High School Knowledge Bowl team had a successful outing at the Manzanola competition.  The varsity team of Maggie Haase, Brenden Reifschneider, and Breanna Wilson finished in second place.

The team had a decent written-round score, then followed that with a good score in the first oral round and a meet-high 17 points in the second oral round.

The third oral round did not go as well for the team, but the good scores in the first two oral rounds allowed the team members to finish in a tie for second place.  They won the tie-breaker and brought home the second-place trophy.

The Plainview team of Destiny Cornelius, Mark McClave, Sadie Wilson, and Ky Harkness struggled on the written round, but bounced back in the first oral round with an impressive 14 points.  The next two oral rounds did not go as well as the team members had hoped, and they did not finish in the top three.

Two students represented Eads on the junior varsity. Sophomore Colin Nelson and freshman Sofie Mitchell made up the team.  They had a decent written-round score and followed it with consistent scores in the oral rounds.  Their scores were not high enough to place the twosome in the top three junior varsity teams.
