Geleslie Warren King, 56, a lifelong resident of Eads, passed away unexpectedly February, 20, 2025 at his home in Eads.
Geleslie was born January 15, 1969 in Burlington to Thomas and Janice King, and moved to Eads at the age of 3.
He graduated from Eads High School in 1987. He attended Northeastern Junior College for radio broadcasting, and dedicated many years to running the sound board at Praise Community Church and running his own trucking company.
Geleslie had a passion for people, and could always be counted on for thoughtful conversation and a hearty laugh. He will be remembered for his love and kindness, as well as his dedication to friends and family
Geleslie is survived by his mother, Janice King of Eads; son, Bailey (Erica) King of Eads; and step-children, Melanie and Cameron. Geleslie was the proud grandfather of his grandson, Timothy. Geleslie is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Jim (Doris) King of Seibert, Arlyn (Sharon) Clemens of Burlington, Royce (Yvonne) Clemens of Burlington, Becky Morgan of Denver, Jeanette King of Burlington, Luellen Esaray of Rush, and Cricket King of Arizona; as well as by many, many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom; and infant sister, Shawna Marie.
Funeral services will be held March 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Praise Community Church in Eads. Mr. King will be laid to rest in the Eads Cemetery.
