Imogene was born November 28, 1931, at Firstview to Ralph and Lola (Hart) Stansbury and passed away February 19, 2026 at her home in Canon City with her family by her side at the age of 94.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin Sparks; sister, Eileen Stanbury; brother, Leland Stansbury; and aunt, Nellie Barmby.

Imogene is survived by her children, Dixie Lea (Rex) Miller of Lamar, and Pamela Ann (George) Unruh of Cheyenne Wells; grandchildren, Ty (Vicki) Miller of Brighton, Kyle (Melissa) Miller of Lamar, Leah (Matt) Sinclair of Walden, Nichole (Brian) Floro of Nixa, Missouri, and Casey (Stephanie) Unruh of Nevada, Iowa; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

A celebration of life for current longtime Canon City resident, formerly of Cheyenne Wells, Imogene Sparks will be held at 11:00 a.m. February 26, 2026 at the Wells of Faith Church, formerly known as the Methodist Church, in Cheyenne Wells with Ian Blacker officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Cheyenne Wells.

Visitation for Imogene will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Wells of Faith Church.
