Graveside funeral services for Kiowa County rancher Lowell Johnston will be held September 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Valley View Cemetery in Ordway.
A reception will follow at the Ordway United Methodist Church.
Mr. Johnston was born February 28, 1932, in Denver, and passed away September 22, 2025, at the Lincoln Community Hospital in Hugo.
Lowell is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the family home in Arlington; children, Kent (Pam) Johnston of Arlington and Kathy (Verle) Ansley of Marble Falls, Texas; along with six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his brother, Clifford Johnston of Arlington.
Mr. Johnston was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Memorial contributions should be made to Lincoln Health in Hugo.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
