Graveside funeral services will be held April 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Sheridan Lake Cemetery in Sheridan Lake.  Memorial contributions should be made to the Lamar Area Hospice.

Per Margaret’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public viewing.

Margaret was born January 19, 1952, in Lamar to William “Bill” and Lillie L. (Harris) Groomer and passed away at her home at Lamar Estates in Lamar April 6, 2023, at the age of 71.

She is survived by her brother, Ed (Ina) Groomer of Wiley; and sister-in-law, Betty Groomer of Arkansas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Randy Richardson; parents; in-laws, Jim and Mary Ann Richardson; and her siblings and their spouses, Lewis Groomer, Tillie and Sparky Kenner, Ralph and Roberta Groomer, Darlene and Curly Culberth, Gladys Miller and Bud Thombs, and Eloise and Gerb Cornelius.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
