Visitation for Scotty will be November 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Praise Community Church in Eads. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Haswell Cemetery in Haswell.

Mr. Briggs was born July 28, 1950 in Lamar and passed away November 21, 2025 at Weisbrod Health in Eads.  

Scott is survived by his wife, Trudy of the family home; children, Brandon Briggs of Haswell and Jason (Lori) Briggs of St. Petersburg, Florida, four grandchildren; and sister, Valorie Briggs (John Davis) of Eads.  

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Emma Briggs.

Memorial contributions may be made to Praise Community Church in Eads, the Weisbrod Auxiliary, or the Haswell Seniors.  

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral home.
