Funeral services for lifelong Kiowa County rancher William A. "Billy" Barnett will be held January 11, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Praise Community Church in Eads. Burial will follow in the Eads Cemetery.

Mr. Barnett was born December 29, 1937 in Eads and passed away January 8, 2025, at Weisbrod Health in Eads.

Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife, Lucy Barnett of the family home; children, Marty (Betsy) Barnett of Eads and Suzette (Barry) Koch of Kit Carson; as well as seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Mr. Barnett is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Madeline Johnson Barnett, and two sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bill Barnett Memorial Fund in care of GN Bank, PO Box 847, Eads, CO 81036.
