Governor Polis makes appointment to the Douglas County Court

Colorado Governor Jared Polis has appointed Kelly E. Waidler to the Douglas County Court in the 18th Judicial District. This vacancy is created by the retirement of the Honorable Susanna Meissner-Cutler. Waidler’s appointment is effective May 8, 2021. 

Waidler is currently a Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Denver District Attorney’s Office, a position she has held since 2020. Her practice consists of criminal prosecution. Previously, Waidler was a Senior Deputy District Attorney (2015-2020) and Deputy District Attorney (2008-2015) in the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

She earned her B.A. from Colorado College in 2005 and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2007
