911 Services Enterprise Board

A 911 surcharge is hereby imposed on service users in an amount to be established annually by the commission but not to exceed fifty cents per month per 911 access connection. The Commission shall establish the amount of the surcharge for the next calendar year.

Cold Case Oversight Task Force

The purpose of the Task Force is to create a database that will house information related to each homicide investigation that is open in a Colorado jurisdiction dating back to 1970 and that are at least three years old.

Colorado State Child Fatality Prevention Review Team

The purpose of the Child Fatality Prevention System (CFPS) is to conduct multidisciplinary and comprehensive reviews of child fatalities that occur in Colorado in order to better understand how and why children die and to develop and implement strategies to prevent future deaths from occurring. These reviews are conducted by local child fatality prevention and review teams across the state. The CFPS State Review Team is responsible for reviewing the aggregated data and recommendations submitted by local teams to identify recommendations to prevent child deaths in Colorado, including policy recommendations. On an annual basis, the CFPS prioritizes policy and practice recommendations to prevent child fatalities and submits the recommendations to the Governor and the Colorado General Assembly in an annual legislative report.

Medical Services Board

The Medical Services Board adopts the rules and regulations that govern the operation of the Colorado Medicaid Program and Colorado Indigent Care Program. The Regulations adopted by the board will direct the efforts of the State in defining eligibility and the benefits for these programs, the rights and obligations of clients receiving benefits, and the payment of vendors providing health care services. The Board will also provide advice and consultation to the State Board of Human Services in connection with the administration of the Old Age Pension Health and Medical Fund.

Middle Income Housing Authority

In order to solve the acute shortage of affordable middle-income housing, the Middle Income Housing Authority will robustly increase the supply of affordable middle-income housing by raising large amounts of private sector capital to finance projects that can be placed into service quickly and efficiently. The Authority will be able to place projects into service quickly and efficiently because it will rely on the expertise of local governments, nonprofit organizations, and experienced real estate industry professionals to identify, propose, develop, and operate its projects.

School Safety Resource Center Advisory Board

The purpose of the Board is to advise and then recommend policies concerning the newly created School Safety Resource Center which is to=o assist schools in preventing, preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and crisis situations and to foster positive learning environments.

Seventh Judicial District Judicial Performance Commission

Commissions on Judicial Performance were created in 1988 by the Colorado General Assembly for the purpose of providing voters with fair, responsible and constructive evaluations of judges and justices seeking retention. The results also provide judges with information to help improve their professional skills as judicial officers.

State Fair Authority Board of Directors

The Colorado State Fair Authority Board of Commissioners is a corporate body, a political subdivision of the state. The Board directs and supervises the Colorado State Fair and Industrial Exposition. The Fair is held annually at Pueblo for the display of livestock and agricultural, horticultural, industrial, mining, recreational, educational and scientific products of the State of Colorado.

for terms expiring November 1, 2028:

State Historical Society Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the State Historical Society is the governing body for the State Historical Society. The Society is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization and an agency of the State of Colorado under the Department of Higher Education. It offers public access to cultural and heritage resources of Colorado, including statewide museums and special programs for individuals and families, collection stewardship of Colorado’s historic treasures, educational resources for schools, students and teachers, and services related to preservation, archaeology and history.

Transportation Commission

The Transportation Commission formulates general policy for the Colorado Department of Transportation with respect to the management, construction and maintenance of public highways and other transportation systems in the state. The Commission also works to assure that the preservation and enhancement of Colorado’s environment, safety, mobility and economics is considered in the planning of all transportation projects.

Uninsured Employer Board

The Uninsured Employer Board shall establish standards and criteria for payment of benefits from the fund; set minimum and maximum benefit rates; adjust claims subject to the approval of the director; disseminate information regarding the fund; adopt rules as necessary to carry out the purposes of the fund to ensure the financial stability of the fund; investigate claims brought for benefits and to adjust, compromise, settle and pay covered claims to the extent permitted by statute and rule; deny payment of benefits from the fund of all other claims; and review settlements, releases, and final orders to which the uninsured employer and injured worker were parties; and to determine the extent to which such settlements, releases, and orders may affect eligibility for benefits.

Water Resources and Power Development Authority
