Weldon "Ray" Green was born May 11, 1946, in Pueblo Colorado to Orman Leonard Green and Marjorie Jessie (Sandidge) Green. He passed from this life on January 21, 2016, at his home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 69. 
Ray enlisted in the United States Marine Corps June 1 of 1964 and was honorably discharged on August 30, 1968. During that time he received numerous medals, including two Purple Hearts while serving in Vietnam.
Ray enjoyed fishing, photography and the quietness of the outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents Orman and Marjorie Green
He is survived by his six children, Robert Green of Homer, Alaska, Tammy Green of Anchorage, Alaska, Donovan Green of Kernersville, North Carolina, Boe Green of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Nathan Green of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Kelly Green of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two siblings, Dale Green of Coffeyville, Kansas, and Sharron Scranton of Tularosa, New Mexico; grandchildren, Christopher Green, Daniel Green, Gage Green, Callen Green, Grant Green, Hunter Green, Miranda Green, and Aaron Toro Rodas.
