Donald Ray “Don” McDaniel was born May 19, 1925, in Eads, the son of Roland and Lottie Wilkins McDaniel.   

Don married Phyllis Martha Elgin and they raised three children.  Don and Phyllis raised their family in a Godly home.  

September 6, 2012, Phyllis went on to Glory where she waited Don.  Don joined Phyllis March 7, 2023.

Don was a quiet and steadfast man of God.  He was secure in his faith and was quite influential in the spiritual lives of many others. Don has run his race, received his reward, and was no doubt known by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, AMEN!

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; daughter, Linda Lee Horn; his beloved son-in-law, Randy Horn; brothers, Ron McDaniel and Dan McDaniel; and sister, Clara Hollis.

Don leaves behind his son, Gerald, and his daughter, Janine, and her husband, Floyd Temple.

Don also has three grandchildren, Ross Rogers, Wendy James and Heather Lively. Don also leaves behind five great grandchildren, Jaxson James, Katelynn James, Hanna James, Sabrina Rogers and Shelton Lively.

Don will be laid to rest in the Eads Cemetery March 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
