Obituary - Fred (Alfred) H. Garcia
Fred (Alfred) H. Garcia passed away unexpectedly August 24, 2024, in Cheyenne Wells. He lived in Pueblo at the time of his passing.
Fred was born September 8, 1965, in Raton, New Mexico. Fred made friends with anyone, and loved talking to people about anything.
He loved cooking breakfast for the family when he was home. He had a knack for cooking beans and potatoes. His hobby - riding motorcycles - brought great joy.
Fred took his work as Journeyman Lineman and Electrician seriously to keep everyone safe. He was passionate about teaching the new linemen how to protect themselves and be safe. Fred worked at RPS and Springer Co-op, and traveled as a Lineman for several years.
His favorite things were his children and grandchildren - hanging out with them and watching the grand kids play sports.
Fred is survived by his wife, Dawn Garcia; children, Brittni Garcia Varbel (Taylor) and Blaze Garcia; grandchildren, Alaina and Arlo; father, Fred Garcia; brother, Franklin Poncho Garcia (Gina); and sister, Anna Dollick (Rick).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Garcia; sister, Freda Baca; and brother, Anthony Garcia.
A Celebration of Life was held in the Raton Convention Center September 15, 2024.
