Obituary - Richard ‘Rick’ Dean Morgan

Richard (Rick) Dean Morgan of Ozark, Missouri, and formerly of Eads, passed away January 16, 2024, at the age of 71.
Rick was born August 9, 1952, in Eads to Richard Lee and Bonita Jean (Drake) Morgan, of Haswell.
He attended school in Kit Carson and graduated high school in 1970. He then attended Northwest Kansas Area Vocational Technical School in Goodland, Kansas, and graduated with his Certificate of Auto Mechanics.
In 1970 he was united in marriage to Vicki Holcomb of Eads. To this union two children were born, Amy LaVonne (Gourley) and Bradley Dean.
Richard later married Bonnie Parmer of Burlington, adding adult children, Dennis and Denise Wheeler.
Richard spent most of his spare time working in his garage upgrading and detailing his restored vehicles. He loved to attend car shows and mingle with fun-loving people.
Richard is survived by his children, Amy Gourley and Brad Morgan; stepchildren, Dennis and Denise Wheeler; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held in Eads February 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kiowa County Community Building, 15103 US Hwy 287.
