Bunnie Louise Larrew
March 28, 1931 - December 16, 2020
Wednesday December 16, 2020, Bunnie Larrew, loving wife, and mother to five children, passed away at age 89 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar.
Bunnie Louise Larrew was born March 28, 1931, to Blanche and Shields Eichelberger in their home outside of Fowler.
Bunnie was a top-level professional homemaker and rancher’s wife. She married the love of her life and provided a warm and beautiful home for family and friends. She married Narvey A. Larrew one winter night in January. They were married for 45 years before Narvey’s death many years ago.
Bunnie and Narvey had 5 + 1 children, a ranching family. Gerald “Stoney” was the first born, dying at age 24, leaving a wife Becky and two children, Jonathan, and Jennifer. Sherry was the second born, and Barbara was the third born. Then along comes Ken and then Todd. Bunnie and Narvey were guardians for Terry Herrell, a niece, as well. She was a grandmother to seven grandchildren and great grandmother to 13 great grandchildren. This is a group of children enjoyed going to stay with Bunnie and Narvey for summer vacations, overnighters, or just a day of fun or work.
Bunnie used the motto was “Always room for one more.” She made the best cinnamon rolls. She made beautiful western shirts and pants for all those that rodeoed. She made business professional clothes, coats, and hats for the beginning careers of the jetsetters. She made maternity clothes for the pregnant women, and baby clothes for the babies.
In retirement she was a volunteer grandmother at the Wiley Schools. She loved and enjoyed children. What a beautiful and fulfilling life. She was loved and we will all miss her, always.
Bunnie leaves behind a family of grandchildren and great grandchildren that loved and appreciated her: Jonathan and his wife and two children, Jennifer and her husband and three children, Jeremy and his wife and two children, Collin and his two children, Ken married Becky and they have one daughter, Leslie-Lynn and her two children, Braden and his mate and child, and Haley and her husband and child. Bunnie is also survived by her sister, Freda, and her brother, Garald, along with cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Public services to remember and celebrate Bunnie’s life will be held later due to COVID-19.
