Town of Cheyenne Wells Notice of Election 2026
The Town of Cheyenne Wells is seeking nomination for the Tuesday, April 7, 2026 Municipal Election. For 2026 we have three seats available. The Mayor will be a 4-year term and there is two Council seats available for 4-year terms. The Cheyenne Wells Municipal Elections are non-partisan.
Qualifications to be a Mayor or Trustee for the Town of Cheyenne Wells are:
- A Citizen of the United States
- Must be 18 years of age
- A Registered Voter
Reside inside the city limits of Cheyenne Wells at least 12 consecutive months preceding the date of the election
Nominating petitions are available for circulation in the Municipal Complex Town Clerk’s office, 151 South 1st, Cheyenne Wells, CO 80810 on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 8:00 am and are required to be returned to the same office by 4:00 pm on Monday, January 26, 2026.
