A public hearing will be conducted for informing citizens and soliciting public input, written or oral, regarding theTown of Cheyenne Wells Implementation of 2025 Water Rate Increases to meet statewide averagesrequirements to meet the criteria for grant funding opportunities for a town treatment plant and additional waterwell sources.
- Inside City Limit Minimum Usage Billing:
Currently $35.00 4000 Gallons
2025 Proposal:
1 st Qtr March Billing $41.25
2nd Qtr June Billing $47.50
3rd Qtr September Billing $53.75
4th Qtr December Billing $60.00
- Outside City Limit Minimum Usage Billing
Currently $65.00 4000 Gallons
2025 Proposal:
1 st Qtr March Billing $73.75
2nd Qtr June Billing $82.50
3rd Qtr September Billing $91.25
4th Qtr December Billing $100
- 23% Increase for Large Consumers, Ag Bulk Freshwater, Commercial Bulk Freshwater Rates divided quarterly.
The Town Council will consider these rates on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter in the Council Chambers of the Cheyenne Wells City Complex, 151 South 1st, Cheyenne Wells, CO 80810. If anyone has comments for or against the proposed use, they may state them at that time, email comments to dktcw@rebeltec.net, or submit them in writing to the Town of Cheyenne Wells, P.O. Box 125, Cheyenne Wells, CO 80810 with reference to "2025 Water Rates."
