IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

Dec. 7, 2015 – Aug. 1, 2016 - 2016 ARC-PLC Enrollment
March 15 – NAP application closing Date for spring seeded forage crops
March 15 – July 15^th - Primary Nesting Season for CRP. No practice or management activity allowed.

2016 ARC-PLC Enrollment

A requirement for the ARC-PLC Program is that an enrollment must be completed on base acre farms each year. In Kiowa County; the contracts are printed and ready for signature. Please call the office and set up a time to come in and complete the enrollment process. The office will also have you complete any eligibility forms for 2016. The deadline for 2016 ARC-PLC enrollment is August 1, 2016.

NAP DEADLINE

Producers who are considering planting any forage crops or millet (other than Dove Proso) the deadline to purchase a 2016 Non Insured Assistance Program (NAP) policy is Tuesday, March 15^th. The service fee is $250.00 per producer with the exception of Beginning Farmers and Socially Disadvantaged (women) as their service fee is waived. Buy up coverage is available; however remember you do not have to purchase buy-up coverage - basic 50/55 coverage is still available.
