Field Crops Report: Winter wheat mature was 98%, near 94% last year, and ahead of 93% for the five-year average. Harvested was 83%, well ahead of 59% last year, and ahead of 65% average. 

Corn condition rated 2% very poor, 9% poor, 32% fair, 45% good, and 12% excellent. Corn silking was 18%, near 17% last year and 22% average. 

Soybean condition rated 1% very poor, 7% poor, 29% fair, 54% good, and 9% excellent. Soybeans planted was 97%, equal to both last year and average. Emerged was 90%, near 91% last year and 93% average. Blooming was 4%, well behind 24% last year, and behind 18% average. 

Sorghum condition rated 2% very poor, 7% poor, 36% fair, 50% good, and 5% excellent. Sorghum planted was 95%, near 97% last year and 96% average. Headed was 3%, near 1% last year and 4% average. 

Cotton condition rated 0% very poor, 1% poor, 51% fair, 45% good, and 3% excellent. Cotton squaring was 51%, ahead of 40% last year, and well ahead of 31% average. 

Sunflowers planted was 85%, behind 92% last year and 91% average.
