USDA is projecting that there will be continued downward pressure on corn prices as U.S. stocks rise.

The latest USDA corn crop estimate has corn growers harvesting a 15.1 billion bushel crop.
A little bit smaller crop than last year.
About 1 percent smaller.
This from USDA Outlook Chairman Mark Jakanowski who says despite a small cut in expected production, this corn crop is still on track to be the third biggest corn crop on record and will likely result in a buildup of stocks by the end of the marketing year.
Year over year, U.S. corn ending stocks are forecast to be up about 178 million bushels.
As a result of that and other supply demand factors, prices have been under some pressure.
USDA forecasting prices this season will average only $4.10 a bushel.
Year over year, that's down 45 cents per bushel.
Or a decline of about 10 percent.
