EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Kiowa County Department of Social Services is seeking applicants for the position of Child Welfare/Adult Protection Caseworker.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from a higher education institution with some course work related to the job responsibilities of a social caseworker. Examples of such course work
include, but are not limited to, social sciences such as psychology or sociology, child development, family intervention or other human behavior related coursework.
Applications will also be accepted from individuals with an Associates Degree, which may, or may not, qualify for an educational waiver from the State of Colorado.
Applicant must have a current Colorado driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background check, pass a drug test, have computer skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people.
Compensation:
Starting wage for this position is $20-$23 per hour DOQ
