For the week ending November 28, 2021, there were 6.9 days suitable for fieldwork, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Topsoil moisture supplies rated 16% very short, 30% short, 53% adequate, and 1% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 16% very short, 27% short, 56% adequate, and 1% surplus.
Field Crops Report: Winter wheat condition rated 3% very poor, 7% poor, 28% fair, 52% good, and 10% excellent. Winter wheat emerged was 96%, near 95% last year and 93% for the five-year average.
Soybeans harvested was 96%, near 99% last year and 97% average.
Sorghum harvested was 95%, near 97% last year and 94% average.
Cotton harvested was 70%, ahead of 60% both last year and average.
Sunflowers harvested was 95%, near 98% last year and 93% average.
Pasture and Range Report: Pasture and range conditions rated 10% very poor, 16% poor, 36% fair, 38% good, and 0% excellent.
