Ag stats: Mountain states second quarter milk production highlights
APRIL - JUNE 2019 QUARTERLY MILK PRODUCTION
Arizona dairy herds produced 1.24 billion pounds of milk during the April - June quarter, down 5.0 percent from the previous year.
Colorado dairy herds produced 1.21 billion pounds of milk during the April - June quarter, up 4.9 percent from the previous year.
Montana dairy herds produced 65.0 million pounds of milk during the April - June quarter, down 7.1 percent from the previous year.
New Mexico dairy herds produced 2.10 billion pounds of milk during the April - June quarter, down 2.6 percent from the previous year.
Utah dairy herds produced 579.0 million pounds of milk during the April - June quarter, down 2.9 percent from the previous year.
Wyoming dairy herds produced 36.5 million pounds of milk during the April - June quarter, up 2.0 percent from the previous year.
UNITED STATES HIGHLIGHTS
Milk production in the United States during the April - June quarter totaled 55.8 billion pounds, down 0.1 percent from the April - June quarter last year.
